We had an amazing weekend! It was a shame about Storm Bert, but i don’t think your exceptional staff and their preparation can be blamed for that! We will definately return to Great Higham when the need arises again

This was the second time we hired the whole complex.

Yet again we had a fantastic time.

There were 29 of us with 9 children and lots of dogs. Ranging from age 1 to 88.

All the rooms were well furnished and presented beautifully.

The whole complex is on it’s own… the only holiday we have had where it’s like being on our own island where kids can be kids like in an Enid Blyton book!

This is our third year here and each year things just become more friendly, the facilities seem to be upgraded year on year to the delight of my students, a big thank to Mandy for making our stay seem special.

We absolutely loved our stay at Great Higham Barn! We booked it for my sister’s 30th birthday, and it was the ideal venue.
The barn was perfectly equipped—it had everything we needed and made hosting a breeze.
Most importantly, we made so many lovely, unforgettable memories during our time there. Highly recommend for any special group celebration!

Great Higham Farm complex was the perfect venue for my 70th birthday party and family weekend. The Barn has the wow factor due to the beautiful timber framed construction.
The open plan layout, is ideal for a larger group, but also providing quieter places to sit upstairs in cosy sofa areas.
The grounds, pool and hot tub complete the perfect location. I would highly recommend.

We recently stayed at Great Higham Barn and had the most amazing time! The Barn is a stunning place, spacious both inside and out, and perfectly set up for group get-togethers. Everything was spotless and well equipped, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. Communication with Abbie and Mandy was excellent; they were both incredibly helpful in making sure everything was ready for our stay. Thanks for an amazing weekend – it was just perfect!

I had the best weekend at Great Higham Farm for my 30th Birthday! It was the perfect place for 40 of us, lots of space and all the bedrooms are lovely. The outside area is stunning and we felt very secluded. The kitchen is a really good size and had everything we needed, lots of oven and fridge space to cater for 40. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and went out of their way to make everything easy! Couldn’t recommend it more.

We celebrated 30 years of being friends with our university friends and their families by staying 3 nights at the Complex. Our party’s age ranged from 3years to 50years old and there was 34 of us. Each and every one of us had a fantastic time. We thoroughly enjoyed the Complex and it’s amazing facilities. The grounds and living areas are so well kept. Mandy the housekeeper was amazing and tended to our requests promptly.

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my daughter’s hen do. Mandy and her team could not have been more helpful when organising the weekend. We had the whole complex and everything was spotlessly clean, the Barn is incredible and had lots of areas for the hens to spread out and for us to do activities upstairs in the lounge area and outside around the large outdoor table. The weather was amazing so we made full use of the pool and the jacuzzi. Such a beautiful setting looking out across the fields and so so quiet, it was stunning. Several people have asked if we were in the South of France! The village of Lenham is close by for anything you need and the Chequers Inn down the road was incredibly friendly and the food was good.We loved it and will definitely be back for a large family gathering. The houses were well equipped and apart from playing tennis we made full use of the facilities. Thank you for a great weekend and for all your help and support Mandy and Abbie it was a truly memorable weekend.

We had the most wonderful stay at Great Higham Barn! The view from the barn was stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable weekend. The swimming pool was a lovely temperature – ideal for cooling off after setting up for the hen weekend on a particularly hot day. The hot tub, nestled among the trees, made for a beautifully serene setting. The garden also had a fantastic table, perfectly sized for our group, which came in great use for our cocktail-making activity!

The house itself was absolutely perfect for our group. The huge dining table was ideal for hosting dinners, bringing everyone together in the best way. The upstairs lounge area, split into two cosy sections, was great for downtime – whether unwinding with a book or enjoying a quite cup of tea! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and showers were lovely and clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need.

There was an enormous TV in the lounge, which was perfect for our hen do games! Everything was impeccably clean upon arrival, making the whole experience seamless from start to finish.

All in all, a truly gorgeous house, and we sincerely hope to return again!

We got married at Great Higham Farm in April 2025, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. After visiting countless traditional venues, none quite fitted the vision we had for our intimate, dry-hire, multicultural wedding – until we discovered this incredible space.

In the months leading up to the big day, Mandy and her team were wonderfully accomodating, allowing us to visit the barn multiple times as we planned. We booked the entire complex, which gave our friends and family full access to all the facilities – a perfect setup for a truly memorable week
