The Great Higham properties are located on the Torry Hill Estate, a family-owned farm for over 100 years. We manage the estate as a family farm, with commercial orchards of cherries, plums, apricots, and walnuts, traditional Sussex cattle in the parkland, grazing sheep, and arable crops.

Our environmental stewardship scheme complements the farming and encourages wildlife. We also manage sweet chestnut woods, which are coppiced to supply timber for our own business making chestnut fencing and timber products.

Our commitment to sustainability is evident in the use of waste timber from the business to heat the properties at Great Higham Farm.
