The Great Higham Farm properties are located on the picturesque Torry Hill Estate, a family-owned farm for over 100 years.

The family run farm is managed as a traditional farm with commercial orchards of Cherries, Plums, Apricots and Walnuts. We rear traditional Sussex cattle across the Esate, and have recently acquired a flock of Sheep, not forgetting our arable land!

We are also very lucky to own over 1,000 acres of Kentish chestnut woodland, which are coppiced to supply timber for our sister company ‘Torry Hill Chestnut Fencing’ who produce a high quality range of chestnut fencing including chestnut pale fencing, chestnut gates, cleft post and rail fencing, chestnut stakes, bollards, chestnut posts and chestnut panel fencing.

Our environmental stewardship scheme compliments the farming method and encourages wildlife across the estate and our commitment to sustainability is evident in the use of waste woodchip from our sister company – to heat the properties at Great Higham Farm using our Biomass Boiler.
